These terms cover the StoryShots partner program: what you earn when you recommend StoryShots, how we credit sales, and how we pay. The program is run by Parsida AB, Sweden, the company behind StoryShots. Our general Terms of Service apply too.
You need a free StoryShots account to apply. We read every application and approve partners by hand, and we can say no. You start earning once we approve you. Sales from before that don't earn.
You earn 30% of every payment a reader you referred makes on app.getstoryshots.com, from their first payment up to and including the same date 12 months later. That covers a lifetime purchase, the first payment and first renewal of an annual plan, and every monthly payment in that window. Payments after the window don't earn.
Some partners get a higher rate (40%) and a personal reader discount code. We offer that by agreement, and everything else in these terms applies the same way.
We work out commission on what the reader actually paid, after any discount, rounded down to the cent. If a payment is in a currency other than US dollars, we sort it out with you by hand.
Only purchases made on app.getstoryshots.com earn a commission. Purchases in the App Store or Google Play aren't tracked yet, so they don't earn, even if the reader found us through you. We'll tell partners by email before that changes.
Each commission is held for 30 days after the reader pays. If the reader gets a refund or disputes the charge during the hold, the commission is cancelled (or reduced, for a partial refund). If it happens after we've paid you, we take that amount off your next payout.
We pay once a month by PayPal, to the payout email in your dashboard. A payout goes out when your payable commissions reach $50. Anything below that carries over to the next month. Please keep your payout email up to date: we can't recover a payment sent to an address you gave us that turns out to be wrong.
You're responsible for any taxes on what you earn and for reporting it where you live. We don't withhold tax. We may ask you for details we need for our own bookkeeping, and we can hold a payout until we have them.
If we find a commission came from any of these, we cancel it, and we can remove you from the program.
We can change these terms or end the program. We'll email you at least 30 days before a change that affects what you earn takes effect, or before the program ends. Commissions you earned before then are paid under the terms that applied when the reader paid.
You can leave at any time by emailing us. If you leave or the program ends, we pay out your payable commissions in the next monthly payout, even if they're under the minimum.
We keep your partner profile (name, sign-in email, payout email, country, code, how you promote us) and your commission and payout records. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use and keep them.
